We offer virtual French tutoring for children and adolescents between 4-17 years old. Whether your child is at a beginner, intermediate or an advanced French level, we are here to assist! Our sessions provide French tutoring from basic French curriculum, oral skills, help with homework, reading/comprehension and more!
Kisha is the owner of Fun French Tutoring and has been tutoring children and adolescents for 21 years. Kisha is fluent in French and has been speaking the language since she was a toddler. She learned French from her French speaking family members such as her father and at school. All of Kisha's education from kindergarten to her undergraduate degree were taught in the French language. She started tutoring the French language at a home daycare in her neighborhood which lead her to helping other neighborhood children after school and on weekends. After continuous positive feedback from parents over the years, Kisha decided to start her own virtual French tutoring service to assist more children and adolescents. Kisha takes pride in helping youth learn French and wants them all to be successful!
Arlette was born in Cameroon, Central Africa, a bilingual country where French and English are the official languages. Her first language is French and she currently works as a nurse in a French clinic. Arlette loves to learn new life concepts, she is a mother and loves to work with children.
Romy is currently a student at York University which is located in Toronto, Ontario. She comes from a French Caribbean background and has been speaking the French language since birth. Romy is also a French substitute teacher in schools in her community. Romy is calm, patient and enjoys interacting with younger students.
Diami is a French native speaker born in France. She is a professional who is passionate about sciences, discovering new cultures and sharing new languages through travelling. She has experience tutoring children with patience, positivity and a participative manner to allow them to progress. Diami likes having a positive impact on children's futures.
Djeedjee is Haitian-Canadian and has been speaking French her entire life at home/school. Throughout secondary school and undergraduate studies, she tutored students in French and did substitute teaching for the Catholic French School Board. Djeedjee now has a Master’s degree in Social Work and has a bilingual career.
Mercy was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia and has been speaking French as her first language since she was a child. Mercy currently works as bilingual Social Worker and her practice began working with children/adolescents in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Mercy brings a wealth of experience in working with children with developmental needs and trauma. She believes that children's challenges in their learning can be overcome by using their innate abilities and strengths.
Adele is a native French speaker and has been teaching French to adults and children for the last 10 years. Adele loves to work with younger students as she finds it to be fun. Adele always creates a postive environment during sessions that way students feel comfortable to share and received knowledge in French.
Hayden is a second year student at the University of Toronto. She began learning French in grade 1 when she was enrolled in the French immersion program. Hayden continued on in French until grade 12. She has experience as a nanny and loves working with children. She is excited to tutor students!
Sharonne was born and raised in Paris, France and is the eldest in her family. Sharonne travelled to many places during her studies and for her own experience, she decided to move to Canada in 2020. She loves discovering new cultures and sharing her knowledge with others. Sharonne has experience working with children and she use to teach basketball.
Kyria was born and raised in Cameroon and her first language is French. She completed the majority of her education in French and is currently a nursing student at University of Toronto. Kyria is calm and loves to tutor and interact with children.
